Southern Exposure

This is my senior year animation degree project. It’s an autobiographical account of my year living in a small rural town in the South. I had moved there after graduating from pharmacy school to try and make extra money in order to pay off my student loans (much like the main character from my favorite show, “Northern Exposure”). Hilarity and misunderstanding ensues.

(Note: this film is not meant to be taken as slander towards Southern people or the South in general. It is based on my own personal experience living in one particular town. I also met some kind people while there, and I have also experienced ignorance and racism while living in the Northeast.)
